Job summary

Koch Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking Spring 2027 Tax Interns who will gain real hands-on experience while contributing to a diverse team across our tax function. This 12-week, in-person program emphasizes learning, development, and practical exposure to corporate taxation opportunities.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, attend trainings, and participate in networking events to build lasting career connections within Koch’s network of companies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Related Field.
• An interest in corporate taxation planning.
• Available to work a 40-hour week Monday-Friday during Spring or Summer 2027.
• Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028.
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and understand the business of assigned entities to assess tax opportunities.
• Attend trainings to gain basic tax knowledge and become familiar with tax software programs.
• Work with Koch tax professionals on the strategic analysis and reporting of business transactions.
• Prepare corporate income tax returns for accurate reporting and compliance with domestic and foreign tax law.
• Apply concepts learned in the classroom and enhance professional skills.
• Attend onboarding in Wichita, KS; travel may be required for interns located elsewhere.
• Develop and apply Koch's Principle Based Management approach.
