Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Logistics & Shipping Coordinator in Plano, TX to support operations, warehouse, production, and sales teams. The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and a proactive work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling carrier pickups, entering shipment data, tracking shipments, and maintaining shipping documentation while coordinating with warehouse and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehousing, or transportation coordination.
• Experience tracking freight shipments and coordinating with freight carriers or brokers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience using carrier portals, LTL portals, or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule freight carrier pickup and delivery appointments.
• Enter shipment information into carrier portals and ERP systems.
• Monitor outbound and inbound shipments and resolve delays.
• Generate shipping documents and maintain records.
• Update inventory logs and shipment milestones.
• Coordinate shipping priorities with warehouse, production, and sales teams.
• Communicate shipment schedules to warehouse personnel.
• Serve as contact for freight carriers and drivers.
• Audit freight invoices and compare charges to quotes.
• Review carrier options and transit times for timely deliveries.
