Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Planning Analyst to develop, maintain, and report project schedules, spend curves, and liquidity forecasting across the development portfolio. You will coordinate SAP budget uploads and procurement project reporting, serving as the primary link between Development, Procurement, Estimating, Engineering, Pre-Construction, and external vendors.

The role can be based in San Francisco, San Diego, Denver, or Scottsdale, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of progressive project scheduling experience, with large-scale capital construction and renewable energy exposure preferred.
• Strong CPM scheduling, schedule risk analysis, and EVM knowledge.
• Ability to build and maintain complex schedules across multiple work streams.
• Familiarity with SAP budget module and project coding workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software.
• Facilitate schedule reviews and document changes and impacts.
• Monitor progress, flag delays, and develop recovery plans.
• Prepare schedule status reports, look ahead schedules, and variance analyses.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and support recovery planning.
• Maintain templates and standardization for scheduling practices.
• Implement AI-enabled scheduling updates and streamlined reporting.
• Coordinate ad hoc procurement project reporting.
• Coordinate consolidated spend curve commitments aligned to the project schedule.
• Perform variance analysis and highlight changes to spend exposure pre-FNTP.
• Create spend forecasts with variance analysis and risk assessment.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to automate reporting and variance reporting.
• Upload approved budgets into SAP and communicate postings to project teams.
• Draft communications for budgets and approvals for analyst review.
