Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Lehi, Utah is seeking student interns to support pre-construction planning, permitting, and analysis on multiple projects. You will help project managers, collaborate across disciplines, and gain familiarity with local regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant program.
• Majors listed reflect aviation, urban planning, and transportation fields.
• Degree in progress required or anticipated for summer/semester of internship.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
• Evaluate development proposals for zoning compliance.
• Prepare planning and land use studies.
• Coordinate with municipal and state agencies.
