Kimley-Horn is seeking Planning students to join our Spokane, Washington office for an in-person internship. You will contribute to pre-construction planning, permitting, and analysis across multiple projects, collaborating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Planning Degree in City & Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, or related major.
• Eligible for in-person internship in Spokane, WA.
• Hourly rate offered: $25-$27.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Evaluate development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations.
• Prepare planning and land use studies.
• Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies.
