Job summary

HALLSTA in Los Angeles seeks a Project Manager, Planning & Construction to lead healthcare construction projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to meet budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of PM experience in healthcare, including OSHPD projects. Strong communication and software skills are essential, with daily coordination across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in the healthcare sector preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with California hospital construction projects (OSHPD) preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating, cost management, project controls, scheduling, documentation, and construction practices required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage healthcare construction projects from planning through closeout.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the owner, project partners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Coordinate and monitor construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and other project teams.
  • Manage project controls, costs, schedules, logistics, documentation, and closeout activities.
  • Review contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications for compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and track project information, approvals, action items, and status updates.
  • Manage bid phase services and support project procurement activities as needed.
  • Ensure project teams comply with applicable safety requirements.
  • Assist with healthcare regulatory and accreditation preparation, including Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements.

Job description

TheProject Manager, Planning & Constructionis responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of healthcare construction projects from initial project identification through construction closeout. This role works closely with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project partners to ensure projects meet established requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.

Salary Range: $130,000.00-$170,000.00 annual salary
