Job summary

HALLSTA is seeking a Director of Planning & Construction to provide strategic leadership for planning and delivery of healthcare projects. You will lead the Planning & Construction team, oversee multiple concurrent projects, and collaborate with executives, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of healthcare operations or healthcare project management experience.
  • Experience with operational readiness or transition planning for healthcare facilities.
  • Proficiency in project estimating, cost management, project controls, and scheduling.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Planning & Construction personnel.
  • Oversee multiple healthcare projects from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop project strategies, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, scheduling, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify project risks, resolve challenges, and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Operational Readiness and leadership to evaluate project proposals and strategic alignment.
  • Support business development through client engagement, capital and master planning, and future project opportunities.

Job description

TheDirector of Planning & Constructionprovides strategic leadership and oversight for the planning and delivery of healthcare projects. This role leads the Planning & Construction team, oversees multiple concurrent projects, and works closely with executive leadership, clients, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Salary Range: $200,000.00-$250,000.00 annual salary

Hybrid Work Arrangement: This position follows a flexible hybrid model based on business and client needs. Work locations may vary between our office, client sites, and remote work from home. There is no fixed hybrid schedule, and employees should be prepared to work from different locations as project and business demands require.
