Our client, the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Lead III to join their team. As a Planning and Scheduling Lead III, you will be part of the Project Controls Department supporting early-stage project development and execution planning for offshore oil and gas projects. Pay Range: $120/hr-$130/hr
What's the Job?
- Support early-stage development of FPSO, SURF, and Offshore Pipeline projects by translating technical scope into executable project strategies and integrated schedules.
- Develop and evaluate multiple project execution scenarios to optimize project outcomes and reduce risks.
- Review contractor and vendor schedules for feasibility, logic, interface management, and critical path integrity.
- Identify schedule gaps, inconsistencies, and risks, providing guidance on corrective actions and recovery plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure schedules align with project goals, governance, and external interface requirements.
What's Needed?
- 10+ years of experience in offshore oil and gas projects, including project engineering, execution, and planning/scheduling.
- Experience supporting FPSO and SURF project development phases, including Concept Select, Pre-FEED, FEED, and pre-FID.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development, analysis, and contractor schedule review.
- Demonstrated ability to develop project execution strategies and integrated schedules.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence project direction through clear presentation of risks, options, and recommendations.
