  • Ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities and urgent operational demands.
  • Willingness to work overseas, relocate as needed, and thrive in team settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead schedule development, control, and forecasting for large-scale oil and gas projects.
  • Develop recovery and corrective action plans and review schedules with stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide project teams and contractor schedules to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Forecast project performance and identify variances to drive corrective actions.

What You'll Bring To The Table


  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management

  • Extensive experience with Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling, preferably within the oil and gas industry

  • Supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership in project environments

  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 (Primavera Project Planner)

  • Strong influencing, mentoring, and consulting skills combined with excellent interpersonal communication

  • Ability to adapt swiftly to changing project priorities and urgent operational demands

  • Experience in project forecasting and trend analysis

  • Familiarity with work breakdown structures (WBS), control estimates, and project interface management

  • Capability to develop and review recovery and corrective action plans

  • Knowledge of regulatory and permitting interface schedules

  • Previous oil and gas industry experience is a plus


Preferred Education And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or construction discipline

  • Minimum of [5] years in project planning, scheduling, or project controls within a high-stakes environment

  • Supervisory experience leading project teams or contractor schedules


Other Requirements


  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule (Monday - Friday, 60 hours/week)

  • Ability to travel abroad and relocate to project sites as necessary

  • Compensation of $83.00/hour, with a $120/day truck allowance (paid 6 days/week), and a $125/day per diem (paid 6 days/week)

  • Duration of assignment: 12+ months with potential for extension
