The Supply Planner will perform a variety of tasks with a focus on purchased material in support of program and factory build plans. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. The candidate also must be ready to work in fast paced environment and be prepared to learn logistics/transportation in supporting factory needs. The associated tasks listed below are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact to the factory and/or program’s cost and schedule requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Support Program, Integrated Planning Lead (IPL), and Material Program Manager (MPM) on material procurement plans
  • Review, analyze and release purchase requisitions to Supply Chain in PRISM per MRP or MPM PO placement plans, as applicable
  • Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively working supplied material problems
  • Facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics
  • Participates and lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with other departments

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, Logistics, or Operations.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience with Government and Depot type processes
  • Critical thinking and data analysis skills to ensure detailed status provided to the Program, Operations and Supply Chain teams
  • Ability to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Has good time management skills and knows how to stay organized

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
