Job summary

A leading staffing solutions firm is seeking a candidate in Mountain View, California, with experience in inventory planning and procurement to join their team. You will be responsible for analyzing data and building forecasting models, ensuring communication with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least three years in inventory planning and strong analytical skills using Excel. This position requires good client management abilities and an engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years exposure to Inventory Planning, Procurement, or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Planning.
• Analytical with advanced skills in the use of spreadsheets/Excel.
• Good communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple business stakeholders to align priorities and highlight risks.
• Analyze ASCP Planned orders data and Demand-Supply Data to plan Raw material supply.
• Build and run forecasting and inventory planning models.
• Partner with operations and management teams for communication of results.
• Provide reporting of metrics to business stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Work with multiple Business stakeholders (Planners/Business users and Strategic suppliers)to align priorities, highlight risks
• Analyse ASCP Planned orders data and Demand-Supply Data to plan Raw material supply for Builds
• Build and run basic spreadsheet based forecasting and Inventory planning models to manage Safety Stock, Reorder point and Reorder Quantities
• Partner with operations and management teams to ensure communication of results and resolve customer escalations
• Provide daily and weekly reporting of metrics to Google business stakeholders

Profile requirements

Required

• Min 3 years Exposure to Inventory Planning, Procurement or Manufacturing
• Min 2 years of experience in Inventory Planning
• Analytical, with Advanced skills in use of spreadsheets /Excel
• Good communication and Client Management Skills

Preferred

• Use of Oracle or other ERP systems planning tools
• Engineering Degree.
