Job summary

Matrix Technologies, a 100% employee-owned engineering, construction, automation, and digital transformation company, is seeking a Planner/Scheduler. The role supports Project Managers with planning, scheduling, earned value, and project maintenance, reporting to the Senior Manager of Project Controls.

The position is based in one of eight office locations (Maumee, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Westminster, CO; Indianapolis, IN; Peachtree City, GA; Overland Park, KS; Edina, MN; Raleigh, NC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business and/or engineering related field preferred.
• Experience in an engineering, construction or similar industry.
• Thorough working knowledge of the Windows environment, including Project, Word, and Excel.
• One year experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software and/or Primavera software.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers with the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task code assignment and budgeting (e.g. Deltek Vision budget entry).
• Develop and maintain proposal and project schedules, as defined by PMs.
• Develop and maintain earned value tracking spreadsheets, as defined by PMs.
• Develop and maintain Project Plans, project reports, customer reports, etc., as requested by PMs.
• Assist with training and development of others with regard to job cost, planning, scheduling, earned value, and other project related activities.
• Assist with departmental needs consistent with skills required above.
• Local travel or travel to alternate work sites may be required to support Matrix clients and projects.
