Job summary

Matrix Technologies, a 100% employee-owned engineering and automation firm, is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to support project controls. The role collaborates with PMs to plan, schedule, and maintain project budgets, schedules, and earned value data across multiple office locations.

It also supports process improvements and departmental duties. The candidate will help develop WBS, manage schedules in MS Project or Primavera, and assist training efforts while occasional travel to project sites is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering preferred.
Experience in engineering, construction or similar industry.
Thorough knowledge of Windows, Project, Word, and Excel.
One year experience with MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task codes, and budgeting (Deltek Vision).
Create and manage proposal and project schedules as defined by PMs.
Develop and maintain earned value tracking spreadsheets as defined by PMs.
Produce Project Plans and customer reports as requested by PMs.
Assist Senior Manager with training on job cost, planning, scheduling, and related activities.
Support department needs aligned with required skills.
Travel to client sites as needed.
