Job summary

Marotta Controls in Montville, NJ, is seeking a Planner II (Commercial Space Systems) to manage the planning and scheduling of materials and services to support production and development work orders.

The role requires 4+ years in fast-paced manufacturing planning, knowledge of MRP systems, LEAN/KANBAN, and strong communication. Epicor ERP experience is a plus; US Citizenship required. Full-time with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years planning/scheduling in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Experience supporting production cells and Kanban replenishment preferred.
• LEAN manufacturing and Kanban inventory management knowledge preferred.
• Experience with engineering changes and MRP planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work orders.
• Release requisitions to purchasing on a timely basis.
• Manage material flow from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and purchasing.
• Maintain ERP data and production schedules.
• Own production orders from start to finish and resolve discrepancies.
