Job summary

Marotta Controls in Montville, NJ is hiring a Planner II (Commercial Space Systems). The role focuses on planning and scheduling materials and services to support production and development work orders, including MRP and non-MRP needs.

You will manage work orders, release purchasing requisitions, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 4 years of planning experience in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years planning/scheduling in fast-paced mixed product manufacturing.
• Experience supporting production cells; Kanban replenishment preferred.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles and KANBAN inventory management preferred.
• Processing of engineering change notifications; working knowledge of MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work orders.
• Release requisitions to purchasing on a timely basis.
• Manage work order material flow from inception through completion.
• Manage component shortages to resolution.
• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, quality, purchasing and management to provide timely status.
