Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years planning experience in a high-volume job shop environment.
• Experience with metal stamping, waterjet cutting, conventional machining, milling, and lathe processes preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and planning software.
• Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer drawings, specifications, quotations, and parts lists to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare accurate and complete routers for production.
• Verify engineering documentation required to manufacture parts.
• Work with manufacturing teams to support production planning activities.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and workflow efficiency.
• Cross-train in additional departmental responsibilities as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to review detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do

As a Planner – Aerospace Manufacturing you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
