Job summary

Staffmark Group in Corona, CA is seeking a Planner - Aerospace Manufacturing to help analyze drawings, prepare production routers, and support production planning activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in planning in a high-volume shop, experience with metal stamping, machining, and Lean practices, and is proficient with Windows, Excel, and planning software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
• At least 5 years of recent planning experience with precision stamped or machined parts in a high-volume job shop environment.
• Experience with metal stamping, waterjet cutting, conventional machining, milling, and lathe processes preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods and machine processes.
• Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer drawings, specifications, quotations, and parts lists to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare accurate and complete routers for production.
• Verify engineering documentation required to manufacture parts.
• Work with manufacturing teams to support production planning activities.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and workflow efficiency.
• Cross-train in additional departmental responsibilities as needed.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to review detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
