Job summary

National Fitness Partners is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Lebanon, IN. The role requires providing a superior member experience, answering phones, greeting and guiding new members, and logging amenities.

You will promote Planet Fitness classes, handle sales at the point of sale, and maintain a clean club environment. The position is part-time with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at $12 per hour, with hourly increases over time.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones politely using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverages or merchandise purchases at the point of sale.
• Promote fitness classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Schedule

Schedule: SATURDAY and SUNDAY 6:45am-1pm or 1pm-7pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
