Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a qualified professional to manage building and land use projects from application to Certificate of Occupancy. You will answer technical code questions, perform engineering judgments, and oversee retrofit building and fire rehab approvals.

The role involves reviewing submissions for adherence to submittal requirements, coordinating with staff, and covering the ACD telephone system as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree plus two years of related experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree plus technical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage building and land use projects from application to occupancy issuance.
• Answer technical code questions and make engineering value judgements.
• Review retrofit building and fire rehab applications for compliance with submittal requirements.
• Coordinate plan reviews and department approvals with staff and manage front desk/phone coverage.
