Job summary

Kroger is hiring for a plan-o-gram assistant to complete weekly section resets in a grocery environment. You will read plan-o-grams, prepare the area and reposition shelves to align with updated schematics.

The role requires reading and understanding plan-o-grams, English fluency, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50–70 lbs and perform in a fast-paced store setting.

Qualifications

• Read and understand plan-o-grams.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Smartphone with internet/data access required.
• Must provide personal tape measure and safety gloves.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plan-o-grams and prepare work area to complete section resets.
• Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags and new item product and prepare workspace.
• Break down sections to optimize shopper experience in aisles.
• Re-position shelving and place products per updated schematic.
• Clean up work area after tasks are completed.
• Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and supervisors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Stay professional and helpful when assisting customers.
• Maintain good relationships with store management and staff.
• Follow guidelines for timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication and clocking in/out.
• Practice safe lifting.
• During low hours, assist with additional store support duties.
