Job summary

A growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of civil litigation experience to join its expanding litigation team. You will manage a caseload from filing through trial and work closely with experienced trial attorneys on meaningful cases.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, preparing clients and witnesses, and appearing at mediations and hearings.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction and in good standing.
• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience handling depositions, court hearings, and case management.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and client communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in plaintiff-side trial practice.
• Personal injury litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and case management conferences.
• Coordinate with medical providers and expert witnesses.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
