Job summary

The Bronx is assisting a well‑established Chicago plaintiff‑side personal injury law firm in its search for a Litigation Associate Attorney. This onsite role offers meaningful trial work, mentorship, and long‑term growth within a collaborative practice.

The ideal candidate will manage plaintiff personal injury cases from filing to resolution, leverage strong trial and writing skills, and thrive in a client‑focused environment. Illinois licensure and prior PI litigation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Illinois (In Good Standing).
• Prior plaintiff personal injury litigation experience required.
• Demonstrated trial experience, including civil jury trials to verdict.
• Strong understanding of personal injury procedures and state laws.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Strong organizational and client-relations skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation from filing through resolution.
• Conduct case investigations to establish liability and evaluate damages.
• Draft, file, and argue pleadings, discovery motions, and other documents.
• Prepare and oppose dispositive motions, including summary judgment.
• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with attorneys and staff.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the process.
• Handle discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Advocate for clients through all stages of litigation.
