Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers in South Carolina seeks a passionate Plaintiff Attorney to join our Midlands team. You will independently manage personal injury plaintiff cases from inception through resolution, investigate claims, draft and file documents, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at hearings and trials.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the South Carolina Bar Association.
• 3+ years of verifiable experience in Personal Injury and/or Workers' Compensation.
• Proven ability to manage a significant caseload independently.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of personal injury plaintiff cases from inception through resolution.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence, and develop strong legal strategies.
• Draft and file legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at hearings and trials.
• Maintain exceptional communication with clients, keeping them informed and empowered throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate effectively with our team of case managers.
• Pursue professional development and stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation law.
