Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join the New Haven, Connecticut office.

The role focuses on motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in New York, with emphasis on trial preparation and trial, rather than pre-suit matters. Our firm offers a generous compensation package including a base salary, non-recoverable draw, and standard commissions/bonuses, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active CT State Bar in good standing.
• Ideally 3+ years of personal injury/auto liability experience.
• Ability to manage high-volume litigation.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of litigation cases.
• Drafting and filing pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and draft reports and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
