Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our Houston, Texas office. The attorney will handle motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in Houston and surrounding areas, focusing on case litigation, trial prep and trial.

Pre-suit matters are not typically required. The firm offers a base salary, non-recoverable draw, bonuses, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school.
An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in TX
Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability / MVA experience
Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases
Excellent client service and communication skills
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Responsibilities

Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda
Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
