Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi P.C. in Fort Lee, NJ, seeks an associate attorney with 3–5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience to handle matters from intake to trial, reporting to Fort Lee and Hackensack offices.

Candidates must be admitted in NJ and NY, capable of leading a trial team including a paralegal and staff, with strong negotiation and writing skills; bilingual in Spanish or Korean is a plus.

** Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney primarily reporting to our Fort Lee and Hackensack NJ offices. The position requires at minimum three to five years experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation. You will be responsible for preparing cases from beginning through trial with available assistance of the firm partners. Additionally, the role will involve managing your trial team consisting of at least one paralegal and one administrative assistant along with all allied support staff including the assistance of investigators.

The Salary is commensurate with courtroom experience. The salary income is highly competitive above which is an excellent benefits package valued at an additional $50,000.00 over annual salary. We pay all bar memberships and Continuing Legal Education including programs outside of New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Expertise in plaintiff personal injury litigation, excellent command of the New Jersey and New York Court Rules and Rules of Evidence.
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish or Korean is a big plus although not mandatory.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with license to practice law in the State and Federal Courts for New Jersey and New York.
