Job summary

Corvia Consulting is seeking a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join our Chicago office, in-office, with at least 2 years of plaintiff's PI experience. The ideal candidate will advocate for injured clients, manage cases from inception through resolution, and collaborate with case managers to deliver exceptional client service.

The role requires strong litigation and negotiation skills, the ability to independently manage a fast-paced caseload, and a commitment to professional growth

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Chicago State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of plaintiffs personal injury experience.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and civil litigation.
• Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their cases.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Attend mediations, arbitration, hearings, and court appearances.

Are you a motivated Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney looking to grow your career with a dynamic and client-focused law firm? We are seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience to join our Chicago office.

The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for injured clients, has strong litigation and negotiation skills, and is comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their cases.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.

• Trial experience is a plus.
• Experience handling catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases.

• Familiarity with case management software.
