Job summary

Corvia Consulting seeks an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of plaintiff's cases in-office in Chicago, IL. You will handle intake, draft pleadings, manage medical records, and liaise with clients and opposing counsel.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and case management software. Illinois e-filing familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury paralegal experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the personal injury litigation process.
  • Experience drafting legal documents and managing case files.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and case management software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of plaintiff's personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and demand packages.
  • Order, review, and organize medical records and bills.
  • Maintain and update case files in the firm's case management system.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and client appointments.
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular case updates to attorneys.
