Pusch & Wynne Injury Lawyers in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Commercial Vehicle Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. Must have proven plaintiff-side experience in 18-wheeler and other commercial motor vehicle cases, with the ability to independently manage complex litigation and develop effective strategies.

The role involves handling cases through filing, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation, collaborating with accident reconstruction experts

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• Demonstrated plaintiff-side commercial vehicle personal injury litigation experience - REQUIRED.
• Experience handling 18-wheeler, trucking, or other commercial motor vehicle accident cases.
• Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury law, civil litigation procedures, and commercial vehicle liability.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and litigation case management.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial vehicle personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution or trial.
• Handle cases involving 18-wheelers, tractor-trailers, commercial trucks, delivery vehicles, and other commercial motor vehicles.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnesses.
• Investigate liability, evaluate damages, and identify potential responsible parties.
• Work with accident reconstruction experts, medical professionals, and other specialists.
• Handle mediations, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Develop litigation strategies to maximize case value and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff.
