Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas license in good standing.
• Plaintiff-side commercial vehicle personal injury litigation experience required.
• Experience with 18-wheeler/trucking cases and CMV liability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial vehicle PI litigation from filing to resolution or trial.
• Handle cases involving 18-wheelers, tractor-trailers and other CMVs.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Coordinate with accident reconstruction experts and medical professionals.
• Handle mediations, settlements, hearings and trial prep.
• Develop strategies to maximize case value and outcomes.
• Maintain communication with clients and support staff.
