Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Placement Analyst in Florida to coordinate submissions, gather documentation, and maintain carrier communications. The role supports underwriting, proposals, and renewals while ensuring smooth workflow across internal teams.

The successful candidate will have a Florida 2-20 license (or the ability to obtain one), insurance industry education or experience, and familiarity with Sagitta Agency Management System.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida 2-20 license.
• Experience or training in the insurance placement process and carrier communications.
• Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with producers, carriers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and submit applications and supporting documentation to insurance carriers.
• Obtain and compare insurance quotes from multiple carriers.
• Assist with gathering underwriting information and ensuring submission packages are complete and accurate.
• Process binder requests and maintain policy documentation.
• Assist with proposal preparation, policy binding and the renewal process.
• Track carrier responses, follow up on outstanding items and maintain workflow timelines.
• Coordinate communication between Placement Specialist, Producers, Carrier Representatives and internal team members.

We are looking for a Placement Analyst to help facilitate the marketing and placement process by coordinating submissions, gathering documentation and maintaining communication with our carrier partners and internal stakeholders.

A day in the life
