Job summary

FUSE is seeking an Executive Fellow to join the City of Birmingham and Woodlawn United to lead cradle‑to‑career coordination, aligning cross‑sector partners and building data systems for shared governance and outcomes.

The fellow will operate for a year in a full‑time capacity, reporting to city leadership, and driving measurable improvements in family and youth outcomes, while developing scalable, place‑based coordination across neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in organizational transformation and change management.
• Synthesizes complex information into clear and concise recommendations and action-oriented implementation plans.
• Develops and effectively implements strategic and operational project management plans.

Responsibilities

• Executive Fellows are embedded in government agencies working with senior leaders for at least one year of full-time work.
• Prospective responsibilities may include data analytics and research, developing enhanced operations and financial models, building change management and strategic planning processes.
