Job summary

FUSE is seeking an experienced Executive Fellow to support the City of Jacksonville and LIFT JAX, embedding in the Mayor’s Office to design corridor revitalization plans, build cross-sector partnerships, and catalyze public-private investment.

This two-year fellowship requires deep community ties and a track record in organizational transformation; the role combines data analytics, strategic planning, and coalition-building to advance equitable neighborhood investment through the Emerald Trail

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in organizational transformation and change management.
• Synthesizes complex information into clear and concise recommendations and action-oriented implementation plans.
• Develops and effectively implements both strategic and operational project management plans.
• Generates innovative, data-driven, and result-oriented solutions to complex challenges.
• Responds quickly to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing and excels in active listening and conversing.
• Fosters collaboration across multiple constituencies to support more effective decision-making.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, both inside and outside of government, particularly community-based relationships.
• Embraces differing viewpoints and implements strategies to find common ground. Demonstrates confidence and professional diplomacy while effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of various organizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and lead listening tours with city partners, business and community leaders to inform strategy.
• Develop corridor-specific revitalization concepts and implementation strategies, including financing options.
• Embed strategies within city structures and build coalitions across governments and communities.
• Build scalable, cross-sector partnerships and stakeholder engagement frameworks for coordinated implementation.
• Deliver data-informed deliverables and an actionable roadmap for Year One and Year Two.
