Job summary

Halff seeks a Landscape Architecture Project Manager (PLA) for Houston, TX or The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate has PLA registration and at least 8 years of experience directing park, recreation, trail, urban design and land development projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction, manage scopes and budgets, mentor staff, and contribute to proposals. Travel is periodic within the state as project needs require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university.
• Texas registration as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA).
• At least 8 years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Ability to travel periodically primarily within the state to support project needs.
• Experience with construction methodologies and implementation.
• Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent design abilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through delivery, coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure deliverables, schedules and budgets are met.
• Lead design teams through all stages from concept to construction.
• Produce construction documents, details and bidding packages.
• Mentor landscape designers and technical staff, fostering collaboration.
• Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets and schedules.
• Support in preparation of proposals and RFQs.
• Monitor QA/QC to meet Halff standards and client expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and consultants, driving project efficiency and profitability.
