Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Designer II for Houston or The Woodlands, TX. Collaborate with a team of landscape architects, planners and professionals on parks, plazas, streetscapes, and large-scale planning initiatives.

The role involves site analysis, research, iconographic graphics, and construction document support, with opportunities for growth and potential ownership within the firm.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university is required.
• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in Landscape Architecture, specifically in parks, recreation and trail planning/design, urban parks, plazas, streetscapes, and large-scale planning support.
• Texas registration as a Professional Landscape Architect is preferred, or willing to obtain.
• Experience preparing site analysis and conceptual design graphics/exhibits.
• Experience preparing construction documents.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
• Strong design and graphic skills; writing skills a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite—Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator, Microsoft Office and Lumion.
• MicroStation and ArcGIS experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel periodically primarily in state to support project needs.

Responsibilities

• Landscape architectural and planning project support.

• Participate in site inventory and analysis.
• Assist with project research and data compilation for the design process.
• Produce conceptual site planning and graphics (hand and digital), schematic/preliminary design plans and graphics, design development and construction document plans and details.
• Produce quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates.
• Assist with technical specification preparation for bid documents.
• Produce landscape compliance documents for land development projects.
• Produce maps and graphic renderings in support of planning projects.

What you will do:
