Job Description

We are looking for a proficient PL/SQL Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable database applications. In this role, you will be working with Oracle’s PL/SQL programming language to create high-quality solutions tailored to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in database concepts, PL/SQL syntax, and Oracle database management systems, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient database applications using PL/SQL.
• Create and optimize stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Implement advanced PL/SQL features to meet performance and scalability requirements.

Database Design and Optimization

• Collaborate with the database team to design and implement efficient database structures.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data integrity and security throughout the development lifecycle.

Testing and Deployment

• Conduct thorough testing of database applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Support the deployment process and provide post-deployment assistance.
• Debug and resolve issues in existing systems to maintain high-quality application standards.

Collaboration and Documentation

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including database schemas and workflows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
• At least 2+ years of working experience with Oracle database management systems (e.g., Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c).

Skills

• Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming and understanding of database concepts.
• Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and Toad.
• Solid knowledge of database design principles and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (Optional)
