Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

We have a 6-month contract-to-hire position open for a PKI / CLM Network Automation Engineer. The position is 100% remote.

The working hours are Central, and it's preferred that candidates sit in the Central Time Zone, followed by Eastern and then Pacific.

Disqualifiers: Lack of hands-on PKI/CLM experience and knowledge.

Position Purpose:

Builds and maintains data communication networks, optimizing processes, procedures, and standards for effective data networks, specifically LAN/WAN, mobility, and third-party network management. Monitors network performance, coordinates planned maintenance, adjusts hardware components, and responds to network connectivity issues.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

Requires 4–6 years of related experience or equivalent experience demonstrating applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill level.

Experience with network automation, emphasizing PKI/CLM.

The team leverages an AGILE workflow, utilizing Jira for work intake and outtake.

The major project involves migrating off a legacy certificate authority. Post-project, daily tasks will include supporting the current CA and implementing certificate automation.

Daily responsibilities include:

• PKI/CLM – certificate issuance and revocation
• Request fulfillment and change management
• Serving as an escalation point for SSL certificate requests, assisting the Network Operations team with issues, and supporting migration of endpoints to a new certificate authority

Preferred qualifications:

At least 4+ years of relevant experience.

Disqualifiers: Lack of hands-on PKI/CLM experience and knowledge.

Technical Skills:

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Storage Area Network (SAN)
• Cisco Firewalls
• Enterprise-wide network projects, fault-tolerant LAN/WAN/SANs, disaster recovery
• MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, SONET deployments
• Implementation and design of QoS and traffic prioritization
