CALA Scottsdale is seeking a skilled Pizzaiolo to produce high-quality pizzas and dough with craft and speed in a fast-paced kitchen. You will master dough preparation, fermentation, stretching, baking, oven management, and ingredient quality to deliver a superior guest experience.

The role emphasizes adherence to recipes, HACCP, food safety, and consistent presentation across all pizzas. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required in a premier BOH environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a pizza-focused restaurant or high-volume kitchen
• Experience producing pizza dough from scratch
• Strong understanding of dough fermentation and handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Produce pizzas and dough products with consistency, speed, and craftsmanship
• Maintain a clean, organized pizza station and proper inventory control
• Operate and manage pizza ovens to ensure quality and timing
• Uphold company standards for presentation and execution of all menu items
