Job summary

Ian's Pizza in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring part-time team members to sling slices, greet customers, take orders by phone or at the counter, and ring up orders at the register.

You will work in a fast-paced restaurant, stand for long shifts, and help keep ovens, knives, and kitchen tools in operation. Part-time roles may extend to full-time for those willing to cross-train to BOH.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the counter or by phone.
• Slice pizzas, finish in ovens, and ring up at the register.
• Prepare salads and keep workstation clean and stocked.
• Assist team with shift checklists and general operations.
• Support smooth restaurant running in a high-volume setting.

$17-$18/hour to join the magic behind our legendary pies in Cedar Rapids, IA.

About This Role

Sling slices and make customers' days! You\'ll greet customers, get slices in and out of the finishing ovens, mix salads, take pick-up orders by phone and at the counter, and ring folks up at the register. You\'ll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you\'ll pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Ian\'s Pizza are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, be ready to hustle on your shifts! The team will support you, and we\'ll have fun along the way. We pinky promise.

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment of the restaurant biz.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Scheduling and Availability

We\'re open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-8pm. Shifts are typically scheduled from 10am-4pm for lunch, 3pm-9pm for dinner, or double shift from 10am-9pm.

Part time available, full time for open availability and willingness to cross train to BOH.
