Job summary

Ian's Pizza is hiring in Cedar Rapids for a role that covers pizza making and front-of-house duties. You’ll hand-stretch dough, top and bake pizzas, greet customers, take orders by phone and at the counter, and ring up sales at the register.

No prior experience is required, though dough-stretching or pizza cook experience is a huge plus. Expect a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules and opportunities for tips.

About This Role

Impress your friends and family with your pizza-making skills! From hand-stretching dough to topping and baking, we\'ll teach you everything you need to craft one heck of a pizza pie.

Any Front of House shifts will have you slinging slices and making customers\' days. You\'ll greet customers, get slices in and out of the finishing ovens, mix salads, take pick-up orders by phone and at the counter, and ring folks up at the register.

You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you\'ll pitch in where needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

No experience required, though dough-stretching or pizza cook experience is a huge plus!

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment of the restaurant biz.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Scheduling and Availability

We\'re open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-8pm. Shifts are typically scheduled from 10am-4pm for lunch, 3pm-9pm for dinner, or double shift from 10am-9pm.

Our biggest need right now is for Tuesday-Thursday from 3-9pm and Fridays 10am-9pm ideal. Part time available, full time for open availability and willingness to cross train to FOH.

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
