Job summary

Cicis Pizza-Top Slice LLC in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Cook/Prep to handle day-to-day food production in a fast-paced kitchen. The role focuses on following recipes, maintaining food safety, and supporting the team in crafting pizzas and sides.

This part-time, non-exempt position offers $12.00-$14.00 per hour, flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a bilingual English/Spanish capability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to pass food safety training.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Kitchen or food service experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.
• Must comply with Cicis uniform, appearance, and operations standards as defined in the Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety procedures.
• Prepare dough, sauces, and cheese daily.
• Ensure recipes are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness.
• Place orders and properly put away received inventory.
• Support the kitchen including making pizzas and finishing products, or other duties as assigned.
