Job summary

Stew Leonard’s is seeking a part-time Pizza Baker to support daily pizza production and customer service. The role involves dough making, pizza preparation, and packaging products for customers in a busy store environment.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years’ experience, and knowledge of food prep; pizza experience is preferred. The position includes evening and closing shifts and pays hourly.

Pizza Baker

Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $ 18.00 - $21.00 depending on qualifications and experience

Closing Shifts required

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

Pizza Baker is responsible for making dough and the preparation of Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, etc.

Your day-to-day:

• Preparation of pizza for the day
• Assisting customer within the department
• Preparing prepackaged pizza/products for customers
• Rotating shelves
• Making dough by following recipes

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
• Knowledge on food preparation
• Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen
• Excellent customer service
• Good oral communication skills
• Pizza Experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• This position requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional pulling, pushing, squatting, reaching, and lifting with a maximum of 40lbs
• This position requires occasional exposure to cramped or confined spaces, extreme heat (non-weather related), and noise
