Stew Leonard is seeking Production Assistants for our Bread Production team in New York. This full-time, hourly role involves preparing, packaging and labeling bread to display and sell, with an emphasis on precise measurement of ingredients and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing the production plan, reading recipes, and executing bread production while maintaining quality and cleanliness.

Bread Production

Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $18.00 to $19.00 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

Production Assistants prepare, package and label product for display and sale according to standards, including the precise measurement of ingredients

Your day-to-day:

• Review production plan
• Reading and understanding recipes
• Execute production of bread products based on established guidelines
• Package and label bread for display
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned

Working Conditions:
