Stew Leonard's is hiring for Bread Production Assistants to support our fresh bread production line. This full-time hourly role involves preparing, packaging, and labeling bread according to strict guidelines and recipes.

You will review production plans, read and understand recipes, and produce bread while maintaining health, sanitation, and safety standards. The position is entry level with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew Leonard's earned its nickname, the "Disneyland of Dairy Stores" because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Bread Production

Full Time Hourly - Estimated pay range $18.00 to $19.00 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description

Production Assistants prepare, package and label product for display and sale according to standards, including the precise measurement of ingredients

Your day-to-day

• Review production plan
• Reading and understanding recipes
• Execute production of bread products based on established guidelines
• Package and label bread for display
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned

Working Conditions
