Mama Ricotta's is seeking an experienced Pizza Cook to join our Midtown Charlotte team. You will work with a wood-fired oven, crafting pizzas watched by guests, and contribute to a vibrant, high-energy kitchen environment.

We value passion for great pizza, solid knife skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff and guests. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and manage multiple orders in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation.
• Hand toss pizza experience required.
• Knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling.
• Clear speaking and attentive listening to staff and guests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on several orders simultaneously in a high-volume setting.

Mama Ricotta’s is consistently rated among the city’s best Italian restaurants providing exemplary service to our guests since 1992. After 30 years in business, Mama Ricotta's restaurant is expanding and refreshing its location housed in the Midtown area of Uptown Charlotte.

Mama Ricotta’s restaurant is looking for an experienced Pizza Cook to join our team. Working off of a wood-fired pizza oven, we are seeking a cook who has a passion for making great pizza and letting our guests watch your exceptional pizza-making skills!

Pizza Cook Responsibilities Include:

• Set up the pizza line for service
• Prepare and cook the food according to order/instructions
• Expedite take-out orders
• Maintain food safety standards at all times
• Prepare Mama's specialty sandwiches

We Are Looking for a Pizza Cook Who:

• Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation
• Hand toss pizza experience a must!
• Has advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge
• Can speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, and guests
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Is comfortable working in high-volume restaurant setting and possesses the ability to work on several different orders simultaneously
