Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pizza Chef to join our team in a dynamic, food-focused environment. You will maintain top quality and sanitation standards, ensuring timely preparation of pizza station recipes and mastery of the Dough-Pro machine.

You’ll support line checks, complete prep par sheets, and prepare all necessary items for your station each shift. We value teamwork, safety, and outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes.
• They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine.
• Support the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
