Job summary

Jewish Community Center of Dallas in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Pizza Maker to join our Food Service team. You will prep, cook, and fulfill pizza orders, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with catering pickups as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of food prep and cooking experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This non-exempt role offers 15–20 hours per week with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in food prep and cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Preps, cooks and fulfills orders.
• Support for catering events and catering pickup orders.
• Requires working on Wednesdays and Sundays and occasional evenings.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for food quality and food handling.
• Keeps Registered Food Manager’s certificate current.
