Jewish Community Center of Dallas in Dallas, TX is seeking a Part-Time Pizza Maker to join our Food Service team. You will prep, cook, and fulfill pizza orders, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with catering pickups as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of food prep and cooking experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This non-exempt role offers 15–20 hours per week with no benefits.

ThePizza Makerreports directly to theFood Service Director.The Pizza Maker willbe responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, ensuring high-quality food meets our standards. The role

also involves providing excellent customer service, prep and handling food orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a part time position 15-20 hours/week and is

classified as Non-Exempt with no benefits. The Jewish Community Center is an EOE (equal opportunity employer).

Essential Functions:

• Preps, cooks and fulfills orders
• Support for catering events and catering pickup orders
• Requires working on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s and occasional evenings
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for food quality and food handling.
• Keeps Registered Food Manager’s certificate current.
• Performs other duties assigned by Food Service Director.

Required Experience & Education:

• Minimum of 3 years in food prep and cooking in a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Previous Food and Beverage industry experience
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Able and willing to take direction
• Ability tolift50 lbs. and carry items while walking
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and dependable
• Professional in appearance, manner and tone
• A team player who possesses the ability to work in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previousexperience in a similar role is a plus
