Job summary

Savage Pizza (L5P) is hiring a Pizza Cook/Pizza Chef to bring high-quality, scratch-made pizzas to the service line. This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and consistent execution in a fast-paced kitchen.

Training is provided to perfect top-quality pizzas for our guests. Candidates should be 18 or older with prior kitchen and pizza experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous kitchen and pizza experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and move efficiently in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook scratch-made pizzas and other Savage Pizza menu items.
• Stretch, top, and bake pizzas according to company standards (training provided).
• Read and execute ticket orders accurately while meeting ticket-time expectations.
• Perform proper portion controls and minimize food waste.
• Label, store, rotate, and handle food according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service.
• Check and record food temperatures to ensure food safety compliance.
• Assist with prep work during off-peak hours as needed.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and properly use cleaning chemicals.
• Work closely with fellow kitchen team members to support smooth operations.
