Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Chino Warehouse is seeking a Training Coordinator to design and deliver safety-focused training for a fast-paced distribution center. You will build programs that strengthen employee capabilities, ensure PIT and warehouse process proficiency, and drive on-the-floor operational excellence.

You will manage onboarding, certify operators, maintain training records, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, EHS, and HR to keep training compliant and up to date, including

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts) in warehouse/distribution environments.
• Ability to qualify as a PIT trainer and evaluate operators.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations: receiving, material handling, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Strong facilitation skills for hands-on learner engagement.
• Proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, required warehouse training, cross-training, and recurring certifications for employees and temporary associates.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, EHS, and HR to ensure training is completed and documented on time.
• Partner with staffing agencies and supervisors to ensure temporary associates complete required safety and PIT training before working on the floor.
• Deliver PIT and warehouse process training including classroom, hands-on, and evaluations of equipment use.
